PVC TRANSPARENCY MODIFICATION

PVC transparency modification aims to optimize comprehensive properties while maintaining high light transmittance of PVC. Transparent modifiers prepared from acrylates via emulsion polymerization process are commonly adopted. Such modifiers promote plasticization and melting of PVC resin, lower processing temperature, improve surface quality and hot‑flow performance of finished products, render more uniform PVC articles, and enhance mechanical strength simultaneously.

Main Uses

Widely applied in transparent pipes, plates, sheets, films and various transparent packaging containers. In medical industry, transparent PVC is used for infusion tubes and drainage tubes to facilitate liquid‑flow observation.
